Dear Parents, Ok, day 1 was a huge success! We were able to do some fun activities while spending most of the day going over procedures on how to do things. All of the supplies that you guys so generously donated got unpack and organized. We are reading the book "Flat Stanley". The students will be making their own Flat Stanley's. The idea is to send your child's "Stanley" to a friend or relative and have them do some fun activities, take pictures of him, write about what they did with him - then mail him back to you so we can share and learn about where he has been. Your child will be bringing him home this Friday. Please remember to send in a snack with your child each day. Lunch, recess, and P.E. went very well today. This is a great group of students. Please consider “adopting” my class. This will help me provide your children with resources as the year goes along. Additionally, each classroom is requested to have a “Room Parent”. If you would like to be involved in the planning and organization of class and school activities, please let me know. The Fall Festival – the one, really big event that we have each year comes up quickly and there are a few decisions that need to be made in the next month or so. If you are interested in helping, please contact me.
I look forward to working with you and your child this year.
